Who is all going? Any thoughts about what they might put on tap?
ISO: rubber boat and water wings
My wife and I just bought our tickets. If they really did put the BBA Coconut back in kegs, then I would expect that to be on tap. That one blew me away recently!
I would assume they would have coconut on tap, as well as the others they have been pouring at events.
$31+ a bottle and you have to buy all 6 right? Separate silent release for Pappy?! Oops, no speculation here folks!
I have a floating cooler and lots of pool floats y'all can borrow if someone will grab be a bottle!
So, Bourbon BA, and Cognac BA. Glad that part is finally cleared up. And probably some other goodness on tap all day. Tempting, but not sure I want to make the 4 hour drive. If that coconut or ...was it speculated...Prichards DB? would have made it into bottles, I'd be there for sure.
All or nothing... 4 BBA and 2 Cognac around $202 with tax and convenience fee.
Can't wait... Finally....
anyone from ATL wanna carpool?
Thank goodness for proxies.
Is there a place on the ticket purchase to actually specify a proxy? I can't tell form the BPT wording before the purchase.
I dont believe so. It states that the name on the ticket must match your id.
***READ CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING TICKETS***
Join us this Saturday, Oct. 3rd for the bottle release of the 3rd edition of Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake. Included in the ticket price are (4) 22oz bottles of 2015 Bourbon Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake and (2) 22oz bottles of 2015 Cognac Barrel-Aged Mexican Cake. In addition, there will be several other rarities on tap throughout the day for additional purchase.
THE FINE PRINT:
Bottles can be picked up from the brewery ONLY between 11am and 6pm on Saturday 10/3/15. We will not hold unclaimed bottles and no refunds will be issued for any reason. If you are unable to physically pick up your bottles from the brewery between 11am and 6pm on Saturday Oct 3rd do not purchase a ticket!
There is no need to line up before 11am if you have purchased a ticket - you have all day to pick up the bottles.
When you purchase a ticket your name will be added to our list of attendees. No physical/paper tickets will be distributed.
A valid 21+ ID is required to pick up your bottles. THE NAME ON THE ID MUST MATCH THE NAME ON THE ATTENDEE LIST.
There is a limit of one ticket per person. Do not purchase multiple tickets using the same name. We will only hand out 6 bottles per person. Remember, the name on our list MUST MATCH THE NAME ON YOUR ID.
No proxies original credit card and id have to be presented.
Tho - "PHOTO IDENTIFICATION and the ORIGINAL CREDIT CARD used to make the purchase must be presented in order to redeem tickets and/or entry into event"
I don't see where the Original Credit Card is needed.... Any additional info to back this up?
And... sold out. Wow. That was pretty quick.
Hmmm, where's that Pappy? They are not going to sneak that in the set are they?
After purchase there is a way to 'change name' for will-call. Not sure if this is sufficient enough, especially if a credit card match must occur.
It doesn't say anything about "Original Credit Card".... only attendee list (aka will call)
They said it's the name on the ticket must match the name on the ID, the card doesn't matter.
Not likely but it may be on tap.
It suppose to be 4-5 bottles this year. They will probably do another release.
I've also heard that that could be the case.
The trade boards are already on fire
I believe the tickets just sold out.
Hopefully people read this carefully as this pretty much states NO PROXIES more or less. Basically, the ticket must match the ID and that ID will only be allowed to pick up one allocation.
It still won't stop people from brining wives, friends, etc.
Im just posting what it says in the brown paper tickets terms and conditions. So they may or may not be looking if the CCmatches.
There's nothing you can do about this but at least it means people aren't shopping for mules off of Craigslist
Hope everyone who got tickets doesn't get washed away and that the release goes off without a hitch.
Not sold out yet, heavy traffic is causing issues!
I'm bringing my wife, but I've been warned NOT to trade or drink her beers! Sheesh, I might to hide mine from her.
Looks sold out to me.
sure looks sold out to me
I will be driving down from Michigan... would love to carpool or pick people up along the way. Leaving Friday night.
Also looks sold out to me.
Tickets appear and disappear intermittently upon refreshing. Westbrook themselves mentioned server issues on the Facebook post.
It read "sold out" a few minutes ago, but then it said "available" after I reloaded. Simply cannot commit to something like this, but I did want to confirm what @WckdVbz said (as of 15 minutes ago).
Keep trying people! it's not sold out yet!
