    PLEASE be careful today if this event still happens!! The City of Charleston police have shut down all traffic in the peninsula (Downtown). The flooding is already bad and is only going to get worse with the next high tide around 1 pm. I hope to see you guys out there in a few hours!

    "The BAMC release is still on for today! HOWEVER anyone who can't make it due to the weather will be able to pick up their beer next Saturday, Oct 10 from 12-6pm. The name of the person picking up must match the name on our list, which was finalized this morning."

    I got no dog in the fight, but SC is getting the brunt, as is coastal NC. It would make sense to extend the pickup day thruout the week, all this slop is gone by Tues and it will be sunny. Since dates are kinda arbitrary, I wouldn't want to put anyone in jeopardy if it could help it, the mountains here are flooded too. So while Mt Pleasant isn't underwater there are a lot of places that are and it's windy and the roads can be bad. What's the big deal to have everyone pick up ending on the 10th?

    The road coming in to Westbrook has areas already under water. Low profile cars may have some issues if you're coming from the south. Borrow a truck or SUV or risk hydrolock

    Still on our way. Anyone know if we could still get there from I-95 and I-26? Is that bridge to Mount Pleasant still open?

    Also, Charleston Beer Exchange is CLOSED today. Any other bottle shop recommendations?

    I think it's great they finally decided to offer an alternate date, but unfortunately I can't make that date due to a trip I've had planned for months... doubt I'm the only one. Hopefully they'll consider a few alternate dates or proxies in this case.

    House of Brews is a badass bottle shop and just down the road from the brewery. They also seem to break out some good shit when there are beer events in town.
