BA Mexican Cake Release

Hoping for a rum barrel this year.

 

They posted a year ago what the barrels are gonna be. I know one is cognac and one is double chocolate. Not sure if they're is another one or whats going on

 

There main parking lot is construction storage..not many near the building either.

 

They had a keg of 2015 Bourbon Cake on draft last week.

 

Parking on a regular Friday or Sat is a nightmare with the new building construction going on. There's all of about 6 non-employee parking spots on premises.

Hoping for a silent release. Those have gone over pretty well for regular MC and Coffee Cake this year. I know BA Mexican Cake Day is their big celebration, but if they announce the bottle release at all in advance, they almost have to have it off site somewhere.

 

I heard the Cognac was already bottled.

 

That's not legal in South Carolina, is it?

 

Good point. Didn't even cross my mind. SC does have some weird beer laws though so I wouldn't be surprised.

 

Think the release will be a Saturday again?? Possibly this Saturday?

 

I heard they are watching the boards for trolls and will only release the bottles when all of the noise has subsided.

What I really think: Ed tells everyone different dates, not necessarily to see who is leaking info, but more so because the plans change frequently. Then this info gets passed around and things get out of control. Regular cake was certainly that way, the plan for release changed so many times in the weeks and even days leading up to it.

 

Hopefully it goes down like coffee cake did. That was so easy and not hectic. It was also on a saturday which made it possible for me to be there lol

 

The speculation in here is mind boggling.

Nope. Edward is not going to tell anyone anything until the day before (unlikely) or day of the release (at the earliest). Any other dates, times, and other speculations are just that...speculation base upon nothing concrete.
