They were $30 a bomber the day of the release. And that required waking up early and waiting in a line. A little over 100% mark-up is actually pretty cheap. Most draught beers sold on the peninsula have a 200-300% mark-up.

Yeah, if it all sold out, its a moot point I guess. There is a sucker a minute that would gladly pay for those prices. Me? At that point, I'll take a nice cocktail or wine.

I'm starting to think this might carry over into October, weren't some of these variants bottled in July?

Brewery-aged bottles. Then they can add an extra 50% charge for the convenience of not having to use your own closet to cellar the beer. Genius move.

I was guessing tomorrow (Sept 26), but I assume Edward/Morgan/other reps are at GABF?

Yeah, I don't believe that either. But good god, people would melt like a popsicle on the 4th of July if so.

I didn't think Westbrook was attending GABF

They aren't to my knowledge. As has been explained a crazy amount in this thread, they have a little bit going on right now!

Just answering a question, no negativity towards Westbrook, cheers!

No plans for a release yet. Looking more and more like there will be no coconut bourbon bottles (draught only).

Sounds like it's time to turn the original brewery into a sour house and brew everything else in the new facility

Better to be honest about it than to sell infected beer. Nothing worse than getting your hands on a nice rare bottle and all you taste is butter.

I would still drink a BBA Coconut Mexican Pumking! :grinning:
