A friend and I just split a bomber of Revolution Very Mad Cow and we found it to be very delicious. It's like you crossed Left Hand Milk Stout with Black Note- creamy, smooth and a nice blend of bourbon and milk chocolate. It's a deceptively good combination. My friend said the first thing that came to mind was "cappucino" and I definitely see it.

So I'm wondering what else is out there in terms of BA milk stouts? Even if I can't get it locally, I'd like to know what else I could compare it to, and there is always the ISO:FT.

Sort Maelk from To Ol in Denmark is really good. A whisky-aged imperial milk stout. I think they distribute stateside too.

Cafe Royale from Williamsburg Alewerks is classified as a milk/sweet stout here and it is aged in bourbon barrels. Excellent beer also! They just released a new batch this week.

CCB Imperial Sweet Stout Cognac Barrels is the finest milk stout of any kind I have tried.
