I passed up on some BA BORIS on a recent trip thru OH,I just couldn't bring myself to pay like close to $20 for a bomber. Those guys are pretty expensive.

they really are. now if that price is above what you can pay out, thats ok. Please dont degrade what is a fantastic brewery. Splurge as often as you can and then itll be ok.

I HATE when people knock stuff like this just because the price is up there. I know its expensive, but its just as expensive in OH, so whatever. They make fantastic beers.

 

Oh hell Yeah it's worth it....I compare Tons of beer to Hoppin Frog, It rates Right up there. It is a little pricy, but I can think of a lot of brews that are priced WAY too high, And will keep selling(And I will keep buying)

 

I happen to agree that they aren't worth the price... and I could afford if I wanted to. Sorry, I'm not going to kiss a brewer's ass just because they are form my state. $8 bombers of IPA is stupid; $20 bombers of anything is insane.

 

Binnys in Orland Park had about 6 of them and about 8 Sweet Evil.

Have yet to try BANE (heh). I think I know where I'm going on the way to FFF tomorrow.

Sean, the bottle I bought last year was over 20 bucks. Not worth it IMO.

 

Picked up 2 bottles for $18.99 a piece at Friar Tucks in Bloomington, IL. There are only a few bottles left though.

I opened some last night at a party and it was a big hit. I really enjoyed this beer and went back today to purchase 3 more.

 

$19.99 at another central IL location - happy to pick some up if anyone in Chi area would want to set up an IP $4$ trade. (Also had FMB left at $13.99 - same offer).

 

I don't mind paying $20 for the bottle. I paid $21.99 at Binnys. It's a good beer, I have definitely paid more for lesser beers.

That being said, I cannot spend $20.00 everyday. Don't even think I paid $20 for my King Henrys..

 

$20.99 @ naperville binnys- bout 3-4 left. forked out the cash after some backward rationalizing... (well i didnt buy that tv the other day, how can i not afford to!?)

 

Anybody know if this is still available at the brewery? Buddies Father-In-Law is headed there this week.
