For those of you in the Pasadena area of SoCal; both wholefoods in Pasadena have it on the shelves for $18.99 a pop. Both Bevmos in Pasadena also have it on shelves, they're just sitting.

I picked mine up from Whole Foods on Foothill. $18.99 and there were still about 15 on the shelf. I picked up 3.

I think I prefer regular Narwhal over the BA, but I think I've been growing tired of BA beers in general, and preferring straight up stouts more than BA ones.

Unless they have some hiding, whole foods Pasadena on Foothill is sold out.

I purchased my bottles at the Pasadena Whole Foods on Foothill on Wednesday at around 4PM after work. They still had just put it on the shelves where their Stone Bastard box display is set up. Whole foods on aroyo I was told had it but I did not physically see it.

I called Bevmo on foothill Wednesday before I texted the beer guy at wholefoods (foothill). Bevmo guy said they got it in but had not logged or tagged it for sale yet. Again, did not physically see it since I ended up just picking up from whole foods.

Hope you guys grab some, it's looking to be real easy. All the local bottle shops have posted having it as well. I assume you may have to ask for it at Bevmo, but I don't see why it shouldn't be on the shelf.

Nah. Not much BA action going on in there. Very similar to the lack of BA in knee deep's imperial stout. I was like u 2, and wanted it for my love of all great things sn, but was disappointed. :slight_frown:

it pains me to say this but i agree. i love Sierra Nevada. for life. but yeah, i just had a BCS and Parabola within the last 2 weeks. it puts this in perspective. for me Narwhal is a fucking great base beer. I love Narwhal. that's why I was so excited about this. but i don't think the barrel aging added much in this case. it's very (too) subtle. i guess in terms of what i look for, not aligned. just being honest

    still a Sierra fan-boy though
