    Sightings?

Most places got less than a case and it was gone in a flash.

If you really want a bottle, start calling around @ 9:00.

    Trixie's is out
Steve's Junction is having a lotto
Star got 12, no idea if any are left.

The 2 other Steve's likely got some, Riley's probably did, etc.

Limited Sierra Nevada releases like BBA Narwhal never make it to Central WI. Do distritbutors really believe that their aren't craft beer drinkers here? We do have Central Waters and O'so.

Star's case lasted about two hours.

Hy-Vee or Woodmans get it at all?

Eight cases total for the city. It won't be any better when BA Bigfoot comes back out next year.

There are still cases being sent out into distribution in CA. I doubt any of those will reach Wisconsin, but weirder things have happened.

Woodmans in Gammon said they actually got it on Monday but it's all gone. SN beer finder didn't show it there until this morning.

When there are limited quantities of something, 99.99999% of the time, those quantities go to places that "support the brand" aka sell the most of their year round and seasonal beers, which is getting harder and harder to do with so many options out there. Madison has a larger population and craft is huge here, so central Wisconsin will always be fighting an uphill battle. Just how it goes.

Based solely on the fact it's a bigger population but I would be curious how the numbers would stack up on a per capita basis.

It's the same everywhere. Even in CA & OR, once you get away from population centers, it's hard to find limited releases unless they're from a local brewery.

If you're in Wausau or EC or Superior, your best bet is to get to know your local shop and bar owners. Get them excited about certain beers. Occasionally they'll be able to talk a distributor into bringing them something special.

I would be too actually. Because of a smaller number of options, something more widely available like Sierra Nevada or New Belgium will probably show better than say Three Floyds.

Was hoping to grab this one... was told Jeni St sold out in about an hour.

Maybe stop in at Alpine Liquor on Cottage Grove. Make sure you talk to them, ask if they might have a bottle.

I talked to them. They said they haven't gotten anything in yet, and anything they do get would go to their beer club (those with the most credit for SN specifically).

I've never been in their beer club- I usually go in and chat whenever I'm in town and they just offer stuff for sale.

In fact- is anyone in here actually in Alpine's beer club? I've always been curious about it, but I live too far away to really take advantage of it.

If anyone really, really wants a bottle, I can point you towards a NorCal store that will ship it to you. $25 a bottle, but everything else is fairly priced (Pliny, Knee Deep, etc). BM me if interested.

You're from Wisconsin, trade a couple of NG fruit beers for one

You have to buy a bunch of beer from them, gain points, be eligible for the rare stuff. It is a customer loyalty program. @s_wit could probably explain it.

I usually visit them every other month or so and buy $30-50 worth of stuff. They kind of recognize me, but also recognize that I'm from out of town, so they've never pushed the beer club on me. They usually offer a bottle or two of whatever is in back after we chat for a bit, so it seems pretty relaxed.

As for BA Narwhal, some shops might save a few for any Black Friday/Saturday events going on around Madison.
