sorry if this has been posted or old news. i did a search

i saw this at the store the other day and was stoked they are releasing it in 12.7oz bottles. but then highly unstoked on the price (15.99)

i love Lost Abbey and Port but Jesus.... by their logic, SLH is more than twice as good as BCBS?

Had the same reaction. Older Viscosity is the same issue. I won't buy them on principle alone. Now, if I can find them on tap for even $8-$9, I might be willing to give it a whirl.

Not to mention until this year SLH was a 22oz bottle for $15 at the brewery.

So 40% less beer and its the same price as last year, cool, no thanks.

It will all get bought eventually by tickers who are new to the game and haven't had it.

I was disappointed as well that the bottle size has gone down but the price remained the same.

Thought I bought it for $12.99 at the brewery. Didn't think they had any reduced prices there though, maybe your spot has marked it up? I guess I could be mistaken too

I feel the same way about Uncle Jacob's Stout. Good, but not as good as BCBS and twice the cost!

In SoCal I have seen Older Viscosity from $16.99 to $18.99, no thanks, overpriced but I would love to try it.

The beer isn't amazing to start with. Reducing the size and keping the price means the end of me buying it. I will splurge on an older viscosity from time to time because I love that beer.

I actually enjoy the BA Santa's Little Helper quite a bit, so it was definitely a let down when I saw they reduced the size and kept the price the same. Bullshit. I won't buy it this year because its not THAT good. But they added a cork so it must be worth it, right!?! Even when it was in 22 oz format , it sat forever around here. I'm sure ill be seeing these on the shelves well into 2015.

Uncle Jacobs is one that, while the cost is fucking high, I'm willing to pay it. to me it's in the same league as BCBS

i love Older Visco and BA SLH but they are not worth of those prices (though i do bite the bullet and buy an OV from time to time. it is a good beer)
