Sorry, I did search and could not find anything. Is there a way to determine year on these beers? I think mine's a few years old, but don't know. It has yellow wax

I could have swore that the year was on the label, at least the past couple of years were.

I went to a Sexual Chocolate vertical tasting last June as an opening event for Foothills' new tasting room and their brewmaster, Jamie Bartholomaus, discussed the history of the beer a bit. As far as I can recall from the conversation (other BA's please correct me if I'm wrong), they first started bottling the BA version in 2010 and those bottles have a plain silver cap and no date on the bottle. Beginning in 2011, they began to use the current gold caps and started putting the year on the side of the bottle.

My best guess is that yours is a 2010. Oddly I've never seen one with wax on the bottle (I have a 2012 and 2013 in my fridge right now and they are unwaxed), so perhaps that was done after the fact to help preserve the bottle?
