no rear rares or special beers here. Just bringing a few bombers of some decent things to help pass the morning hours. Can't splurge too much as we will be driving back shortly after.

    Have fun tonight guys!

I really ejoyed this release! Cops were there but really cool about the in-line drinking. I must say I used to tell "newbies" to show up early as the party was always up front. Wow how times have changed! I hope all you guys up front were at the bottle share last night because the front sidewalk was a funeral this morning!

Special thanks to Beerness, scifan, ewright and others for sharing some killer brews!

Had a blast this morning. It's always fun to see old friends and make new ones. Special thanks to John and Tim for sharing some killer brews. I appreciated that taste of Seizoen Bretta. BASC was tasting as good as I remember. Other highlights for me were Apple Brandy Huna (thanks Beerness), Heady, Imperial Biscotti Break, HF Everett & Solitude 4. Big ups to the WSPD. That's how you police an event.

Good times today fellas. Thanks to ryan, eric, tim, charlie and jebediah for sharing some nice brews. I hope I didn't forget anybody. If so, thank YOU too! :grinning:. If anybody has Tim's handle on here please BM it to me. It's great to put a name to a face and meet so many new people.

Safe travels to everybody. Cheers!~~~~~~~jp (john paul)

Beerness/Charlie (NCSU cap) opened one. We were at a table in the back. There may have been another floating around, not sure.

Thanks to JP, Shane, Charlie, Curtis and others for sharing some great beers. AB Hunahpu was definitely the best I had. Special thanks to Pat/kingkong for providing the BBA Dark Apparition I was pouring! Agree with Ryan that WSPD handled the day wonderfully!

Another positive review for the event from me...JP, sorry about not opening that Sanctification. As soon as we got our bottles, the wife wanted to go. And after she got up at 1:45 to mule/drive me home (and she doesn't even like stouts), I was in no position to argue for staying longer. Tim is Head-high (if you're talking about the Tim who came down solo with the blue cooler full of awesomeness).

Thanks Charlie, Tim, Richmond crew, and Chris for some great beers and/or early AM convo to pass the time. AB Huna was indeed the winner for me, and BASC was tasty. Maybe a bit thinner this year? But that bourbon is real nice.

I think you can blame that on Trevor not being there!

This...couldn't have said it any better Eric. It was nice meeting you JP, and seeing the usual suspects. Now we just have to figure out when ORF is gonna happen. Cheers everyone!!

Yes, I really enjoyed my first post...cop release, and I was pleasantly surprised at how cool they were. Honestly, taking a drinking break between 6 and 8am....probably a good idea anyway. Probably one of the better run foothills releases I've been to.

Thanks to all that made it fun...one of these days i'll come as prepared as some of you...with chairs, camp stoves/French presses, and giant chocolate bars...as opposed to just a cooler of beer. Also thanks Corey for a pour of Alpine the night before.

Also, glad all enjoyed the Apple Brandy Hunahpu, loved I could share it with so many. It was funny to see how quickly the 'untappd' word spread that it had been opened.

    So....when's Olde Rabbit's Foot being released

No one likes a grammar snob.

On a more relavent note, I had regular Sexual Chocolate at its brewup release about 8-10 months ago, and it was a middle of the road IS, at best. Certainly nothing I would go out of my way to obtain. Maybe the BA version is different though.

Yea , I woke up for this and drove down the road (good thing I live 2 miles away) and grabbed a few bottles of this. Got some of the SC Jan release before but after noticing the BA was released , had to make the run for a few. Going to sit down tonight and enjoy a bottle.

Very well run when I got there , and a much bigger crowd than the 1/12 release. Foothills did a great job on this one.

The drive was worth it as the wife and I had another great time at Foothills yesterday. Nice to meet Glenn and his wife and I always like running into the BC4M crew. Thought the BASC was solid on tap, can't wait to see how it is in the bottles. Looking forward to next year already.
