It is a separate release. Usually in the fall.

From what I understand is that they release BASC around the end of August usually.

As they said, separate release. The past two years it's been early September and early July, so who knows when it'll actually come this year. Similar numbers to Olde Rabbit's Foot, somewhere around 1200 bottles. Basically no distribution to speak of.

Great thank you all! Great info...I'm assuming you have to close the place down the night before to get in line the next day? Great video too...been meaning to check that out since I started drinking this!

I rolled up around 5:45 last year and got my allocation plus more. For whatever reason, regular SC draws the biggest crowd, then BASC. ORF draws the smallest crowd. Back when you could "freely" drink in line up until 8am, BASC was quite a bit more rowdy (2011).

FWIW, I've never been all that impressed with Sexual Chocolate, but I absolutely loved BASC and ORF. Both are worth seeking out in my experience. The regular one is a decent imperial stout with good marketing.

It is nice to be a bit soberer at 8am when they let us in, but that 2 hour wait feels like it takes forever!

Of course, that does make the bottle share in the brewery more...memorable.

Wow, this is all great information. Thank you so much. Good to know I can make up early in the morning and get there instead of telling my wife I am spending the night at a bar...probably wouldn't go over very well.

I went to BASC last fall and it was a great time. We got there at 6am the line wasn't that long. ~100-200. You could have showed up at 10am been fine.

Has Foothills said when the BASC will be released. Drove up from FL for the SC release, looking to go back up!

I wouldn't expect to here anything till August. Sign up for their newsletter. They usually send info out in that.

It was released on Sept 8th last year.
