BA Shipwreck Porter

    Does anyone know when Arcadia releases their BA Shipwreck Porter? Also, how hard is it to get? Will I be able to find some in West Michigan bottle shops or will I have to go to BC to pick some up directly from Arcadia? Also, anyone recall what it retailed for? Sorry for all the ?'s, but I've been searching and no luck - thought I could get some good cursory info here vs. emailing or calling the brewery.

    Not sure when it's released, but when it is, it's around for a bit on shelves.

    I picked up a couple cases locally for $6 a bottle

    Think it's December? About 5.99-7.99/bottle. I still see it around once in awhile, but rarely...good luck. It's not very hard to get at release...it sits on shelves for a little bit when it comes in.

    Thanks both of you. I'd love to find a bottle - guess I'll have to be a little more careful next time I'm looking around. $6-$8 a bottle seems high, but I guess I'll give one a try and see how it goes..

    I saw some at the Ann Arbor Whole Foods on Washtenaw about 6 weeks ago at $8.49. If you're in GR have you checked GB Russo? It seems like they had some late into the summer last year but I haven't been in that store this year to know what is there.

    It does around Chicago. I picked some up at Castle Vav (Lincoln Park Binny's) last winter.

    I saw a few at Martha's Vineyard at the corner of Lyon and Union on the NE side of Grand Rapids. If not there, check Smitty's in East Town.

    The Armenetti's in Huntley had bottles when I was there last month. I have not been out that way since, but it may be worth a call if you are looking. It is a pretty nice place off of 47.

    Horrock's in Lansing Had a bunch as of a few months ago (~3cases) at $7.00
