Just wondering of I should lay down my BA Siberian Night (or Wulver, for that matter) or drink them fresh. My shop had a one per customer bottle limit of each, and I'm reluctant to drink them if they're still green. I made that mistake with Evil Twin's Even More Jesus and really don't want to do it again. Any input?

Drink the Wulver fresh for sure. There's really nothing to base the decision off of unless Thirsty Dog has had older versions of BASN on tap before. I've only seen fresh BASN on tap at their tasting room. I would say drink the BASN fresh and find more if you like it. I think it will be just as good if not better in a year though, so it could probably go either way.

Cheers, thanks. I think I'll age the Siberian Night, as I'm sure it'll pop up in a tasting before long. I'm a sucker for aged imperial stouts, and regular Siberian Night is is an excellent, available option for me, but throw a bourbon barrel in there and I'm not sure what time will do to he flavor.

What part of Ohio are you in? If I happen to be passing through, I could bring you a 12 pack of them, and make your decision much much easier.

Just opened one from the 4-pack I grabbed yesterday. It is seriously awesome.

I'd say drink it now, especially if you only have one.

Dont age the basn, I see really no reason to. Now wulver on the other hand, it was pretty boozy, I would age it for a year
