When this is "on" it is so good. The problem is I have dumped over half my bottles the last couple years due to them going bad. They have been kind enough to refund me but the hassle has been annoying.
Maple Silhouette was bad 3 weeks after they released it. Most of these are going bad in a few months, not years.
IMHO one of the best barrel aged beers produced regularly in Minnesota. Personally I've only had the one year go bad (2018?) but that was a sad couple of drain pours. Looking forward to picking up my bottles & (hopefully) eventually having a glass on tap.
Ive only had 2 bottles go bad that was the 2018 release , i bought 4 and 2 were bad very late in the year. LB quickly and more than took care of this. The variants Laphroaig 2019 was not infected IMO just not my choice of whiskey for the barrel. The maple 2020 was way to sweet and over the top on maple however not infected. LB Variants have not been great to the base IMO. I bought one Vanilla 2021 so hoping that will be great.
Westside Liqour Sartell still has about 4 bottles of the 2020 version, which is the first I've had of this beer. We don't have 2021 yet, though, I'll let you know if we do.
