Interested in trying this. Any help on determining it's trade value would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

If I'm not mistaken it releases again soon-ish. Right now I suspect there are few bottles for trade so you might have to go "big". Even with new release it'll probably go for other limited, highly desirable beers, but should be easier to get done with more bottles on the market.

Agreed with the above. Last two years have been winter releases (Jan/Feb) so if it stays on a similar schedule, it should be much easier to come by if it's released again in mid-winter. The non-barrel version is very good, & the barrel kicks this one up a notch. As for trade value, it's hard to say. I sent a couple out to regular trading partners, but with beers like this one - tasty, but with little reputation - they're hard to let go for what they'd "go for". Other local limited releases should do it. Good luck, it's worth seeking out.

I was at the BA Silhouette release. I think it was a 3 bottle limit + I traded for some. I will still be drinking this year's when next year's comes out in January.

Last year was a two bottle limit the day of the event but you could reserve 4 bottles ahead of the event for pickup so it was a total of 6 per person if you got there early. The event bottle sold out in just a little over an hour though so not everyone got that many. All that said I think it was less than 1000 bottles last year and probably something similar this year.

Yes I reserved the 4 bottles and plan to this year. I think this is the best barrel aged stout made In Minnesota.

I can't wait for this years release of BA Silhouette. Hooe to be able to stay and enjoy it on tap at the brewery this time around.

With Rum King, Darkness and BA Silhouette it is awesome fall/winter. Should help get it if we have as much cold and snow as last year.
