How do I get some BA Ten Fidy? Is it available at the brewery very often? Do they crowler it? This has been a long time want, and after keeping my eye out for it for about 8 months and not seeing it, figured its time to start poking around for it.
BA Ten Fidy (and sometimes Gubna) usually pops up around GABF week, but I don't think there is a set schedule of release. Honestly, I live 10 minutes from OB, and BA Ten Fidy is still akin to a ghost sighting, mostly because it's pub only, doesn't last long, and is rarely publicized. I'll certainly be on the lookout next month.
I think BA Ten Fidy is on tap there more often that you think. I know they've had it several times in the last six months... However, you're right, it's not publicized when they have it. And yes they do crowlers of it... I'd think at $25 a pop.... I've had it a couple times out of the crowler and it is delicious... If you post this thread in the mountain forum... I think you'd get some more accurate responses as some people know even more than I do about this. Cheers.
A keg of BA Ten Fidy showed up in downtown Minneapolis last winter and I am telling you it was amazing.
A sixtel of BA Ten Fidy sat at a NYC area distro for a few wekks/months last yers because it was North of $800 for the sixtel... Also had some at Pony Bar UES before Phish last New Years Run, and it was phenomenal.
It was a half barrel good sir. It didn't sit around THAT long but longer than it would have if I was in charge of ordering....
