I'm interested in trying to acquire a couple bottles of BA Vanilla Shake but have never seen it in stores.

What does this beer typically cost and what is the availability?

    Thanks for the info!

A $90 4-pack is a crazy thing and that doesn't even factor shipping.
I'll definitely make trading for a bottle a priority so I can at least try it.

It's $23/bottle, and if you order one, it's $40 incl. s/h. Cheapest way to get it is by ordering 6, which still comes to ballpark $35/bottle.

I've traded it many times, always for $30 worth of beer in return.

Yes, my young padawan...I've heard of it being available a few places, mostly in the EU, but most people purchase it online or trade for it.

It´s a pain in the a$$ to get but if you´re into big sweet stouts it´s right up there with the best of them.

I was in Denmark recently and disappointed as I couldn´t get any.
However they´re back in stock on the website this week. Free shipping in Europe if you buy a bunch.
I picked up a few of the BG Dessert to try aswell since there are no ratings yet.

Anyway, I´ve seen a few on the trade forum. I´m sure you could find something local to put up for one.

yes, 3 separate orders, no issues

    I just checked, it's $200 total for 6 bottles, incl. s/h, so $33/bottle

I`d be grateful just to have a sip of the beer never had it.....but I guess the mustard could be the dirty younger sister worth a lonely night!

    That just blows my mind!

In your opinion do you think it's worth it?
How does it compare to limited America BA Stouts?

@sunnrider sent me a bottle as an extra. I loved it. Whether it's worth it to you...very subjective. But I was happy to have tried it.

and they're 12oz bottles. one of the most expensive beers by the ounce

that said, it's an awesome beer, has a really unique feel to it, like a vanilla milkshake. it is, IMO, the single best beer Mikkeller has ever made and easily stands up to many of the BA stouts. but at $2.75/oz...

They're vastly different beers, but for my tastes I like this better than BVDL. And most people would be clawing their way to an ATM to spend equivalent money on BVDL. The mouth-heft of BA Shake cannot be denied.
