    One of my 3 was two-thirds full and one was leaking a bit from the top so I let a little bit of pressure off and it's fine now.

    These were growlers filled at max an hour before purchase. Infection didn't cause some of these to be overcarbed. My question is whether or not the pre-filled ones were counter-pressure filled. This would explain the overcarbing (if they were filled incorrectly with the counter-pressure filler). Otherwise I'm not sure why they blew since the same beer from the tap had perfect carbonation. Bottom-filled growlers shouldn't have a problem with being over-pressurized.

    CCB is thinking its faulty growlers. They've already contacted the company that makes the growlers. It really shouldn't be carbonation. The beer pours really flat. I've been lucky with my two. Nothing has burst yet. Just kept them on ice the whole time.
