You may have got a bit extra on the C+P there. Although I approve of mixing schoolwork and BA.

I'm so productive with the internet and so distracted too.

Also, a general heads up, cabs in Austin are 4 people max, but the cost is the same for 1-4 people.

I found out last night that the best man rented a van for Saturday so we will be able to visit Jester King. We are heading out Saturday to visit ABW, Hops and Grain, 512 and JK. Jester King will be the last one because we are having dinner at Salt Lick. Where is a good place to stop on the way to Salt Lick to pick up beers? (Salt Lick is BYOB, right?)

Anyone been to Searsucker in Austin? The cab ride from Rainey St to Searsucker shouldn't be too bad should it?

Spec's Brodie or CM Westgate. Both have a good selection of cold beer and are somewhat on the way to Jester King (from 512 or H&G; slight detour to CM if you're coming from ABW). If ABW is your last stop, Whole Foods Domain is another good option. I'd bring a cooler and then pick up some ice when you get the beer.

I've heard good things about Searsucker and it's only ~1 mi from Rainey. I'd just walk.

uhhhh Jester King? It is pretty close to Salt Lick and they have a great selection especially when combined with Stanley's pizza who is on site... You would go out of your way a good bit to get something somewhere else but if you need a big shop on the way back from salt lick theres always Specs on Brodie lane, which is huge, or whole foods William Cannon.
