Nice, let's see if they can pull it off. And I noticed they listed McLaddens in Simsbury, didn't know they were open yet... Hopefully their tap list will be better than the Iron Frog. and hopefully it on't be such a cougar den.
Thanks PicoPapa. Should have posted that little bit of info myself...I'm in Mass and feel like I might be missing something if I don't try this beer.
They announced yesterday on Facebook that this will be canned this summer as well. Also, please list any other cougar dens in the area. Thanks
Yeah, had it at Max Burger (got a free Back East glass with it too). It was good... maybe a touch to dry and bitter on the finish. Not sure i would go out of my way to get it again.
Thanks. Curious to see what else is coming in the "Hammer of the Gods" series. I'll keep my eye out for cans this summer...
This was the first Backeast beer that impressed me. It wasn't amazing, and I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but I would buy it in cans and draft again.
I haven't been blown away by anything I have had by them either, but I do really like the porter. I don't know why, but for some reason I just want them to be a great brewery (not that I think they are bad). Curious to see what the rest of the series brings. Definitely keeping an eye out for this in the summer.
