Actually would like to try this again since I had it back in 2011 during my infancy of craft drinking. I STILL found it quite drinkable and sweet with a great maple character dispite hating bourbon at that point. NOW I love it so I would try it again. I wish Founders backstage releases were 12 dollars since that would be on par with the rarity price I had it on tap. If backstage would release this again I may pick up a bottle for said price.

Very strong sweet maple tone and Nutty taste under the intense bourbon flavor.

Holy crap, I had almost forgotten about this even though it was here a little more than a year ago that I was lamenting its loss.

I'll keep my eyes peeled. I know they stopped bottling it about 2 years ago, and the website says it's still draft only.

I miss Boulevard's dry stout. Nothing too special, but just a tasty nitro brew

I never got to try this one. I heard it was a polarizing beer: you either loved or hated it.

New Glarus Strawberry Rhubarb...had no idea they'd stopped making it until I was in Wisconsin about a month ago and couldn't find any. Asked the bottle shop guy and he said they'd stopped making it and when they did there was a mad dash for it. Oh well, it was good while I had it.

Watney's Stingo - doubly serious. Although I think it was reincarnated as Truman's, and now Sam Smith has a Stingo

I have to agree, and commend you on posting. I am still flabbergasted that Yeungling is pulling this one back. It is/was a very pleasant bock.
