How much were you able to bring? Any problems with customs? I, too, plan to bring quite a few bottles and want to have a share.

Hey fellow BA, so I always bring as much as I can but as we always have heaps of luggage/weight it always varies. It's quite a bit they allow, I usually bring 3 or 4 bombers, few cans and few 12 oz bottles. I just wrap them and pack them carefully cause we all know how they toss bags around. When n' where you heading to? First time? Hope this helps, cheers.

I and quite a few people I know have brought back more than 24 bombers in the past and avoided any customs duty.

4 times out of 5 once you mention the word beer the customs officers lose interest and wave you through.

This. The only time I've been stung duty was coming back from NZ with ~35 bottles. Just make sure you declare it. If you do get stung, those 35 bottles only set me back about $50.

24 bombers, 35 bottles, jesus!! I feel inadequate. Last haul from overseas was 10 bottles & 12 glasses (they were carry-on).

Yeah. One needs a serious baggage allowance to do it but when you do...

Awesome. I'll make sure to bring some solid CA brews when coming to Sydney.
