Got a 4 pack of BB, 2 bottles of BB Mayan, and then a BB Narwhal.

Woof...looks like I'm, eating Ramen for the next week.

    Wallet bomb indeed.

I was also shocked by the number of people picking this up ~1:00 in the afternoon. Glad I didn't wait until after work.

Same here, plus some 75 minute, and a SN Estate. I am done for a while, I swear! (until more Short's releases next week...)

Now I need to read up on the possibility of aging some of these Backwoods...

Indeed. No bottle limit (as of 30 minutes ago).

Some people love to age it, some prefer it fresh. I have some '12 and '13 in my cellar. After I tried a fresh BB at Founders this weekend, I cracked a '13 when I got home and found it absolutely amazing.

It's seeming like it's much much easier to find bottles of BB in metro Detroit this year, so I'd say find some extras, age 'em, and see what you prefer

A single year of age seems pretty promising. It might be worth tucking a couple away just to have a fun 'experiment' next year.

I did...but just kept it at one. Really, really looking forward to trying it out too.

I also read that BA Narwhal might drop today too, but knew my "lunch" bill would eclipse $40 at that point and cashed out before the urge took over again.

Aging this one seems to be a polarizing topic. The beer holds up well with age, it is tasty even after a few years. My problem with aging this beer is that it simply does not improve. I love this beer, it is one of my all time favorites, I prefer this beer within the first 6 months or so. I would not turn down an aged bottle but I would rather drink what I have within the timeframe i most enjoy it.

I had a 2013 recently and it was blah. Had a 2012 on tap earlier this year and it was amazing.

It's in at Harley's on Monona Drive in Madison. $15. I saw 5 left after I got one. Stars Liquor has it too per Facebook.

Also Harley's had Bells Venus at four bucks per.

Annie's in Commerce had BwB for $22.50/4pk, I said it was $15 last year and was told that their cost was above $15.
