Picked up 4 4pks yesterday in Ann arbor

 

Got a second shipment in today.(SW Mich) after the rep said we couldn't get more than five cases.

 

My favorite shop had it today in Northern IN with a 4pk limit. Chilled one down and enjoyed it as it warmed. Super smooth!

 

If you'd ever wanna do a trade I'd be down. AleSmith Wee Heavy is one of my favorites actually.

 

Everyone seems to prefer this beer either fresh or with age. Here's one review that shows a side by side of fresh vs aged one year for those considering aging their stash:

 

2015 seems to be a little too light on the caramel smoked marshmallow that was prominent in 2014. Still a great beer but liked 2014 better. AZ distro is way up from last year too

There's a bunch listed on beermenus (and most stores don't post on beermenus) so it's should be showing up in most stores. I got mine at MK's in Rocky Hill yesterday. 1 pk limit though. I'll be grabbing a couple more.

 

M&r's, liquor depot (nb), w. Hrtfd area stores. Just ask around. Netted a case since yesterday via a few spots.

 

Dallas area. Picked up one 4-pk (limit) at Total Wine for $15 and four more at Specs for $15.87 (it's less if you pay cash).

 

I wrapped my 4 pack in a bath towel then the Binnys plastic bag and set the fridge to the lowest setting. Yeah I'm ghetto. Not sure if this is smart and not sure when I'm going to crack the first one.

Illinois- It hit Binny's in Plainfield on Rt 59..........they got quite a bit in, prob had 6 cases on the floor, and the worker actually went to the back for my case. 15/4pk or 85/case

 

I get coconut for sure(also get it in KBS) and I assume it is the barrels they use. It will get a bit more coconut flavor as it ages and the bourbon flavor mellows out.

I do not remember last years batch being this good while it was fresh, but a year is a long time so I may just not recall.

 

Why does Michighan get ass ***** on beer pricing? The cheapest I saw a 4 pack going for is 15.99, and that was only because I am a regular and got a deal. Everywhere else it is 18-20.00.
