Apples to oranges imo. Fwiw, I'll take the imperial stout over breakfast any day.

The new Wegmans in Glenn Mills only 15 minutes from west Chester had a bunch of 4 packs today

Not only you're comparing two different beer styles, one is also barrel-aged.

I don't buy a lot of beer there as I have a local much more stocked and well priced shop (very lucky to have it). But if I lived in Davison, it'd be a decent option. I usually buy whisky and rum there. Although they stopped carrying handles of two things I pickup. And that was like the only place I could usually find them.

pretty much awesome just like all the other Wegman's. Seems pretty much the same as the others I have been in. Great prices and selection. Whole Foods down the street is in for a world of hurt overall.

Whole Foods has tanked so hard, it's sad. And with them laying off some of the people who really made the places special (at least in other parts of the country, haven't heard or noticed much around here yet)...

:astonished: it comes in 4-packs. Are you sure you got the right beer?

Had no idea Wegmans was opening a store there. That'll be a convenient stop en route back to the city.

Just bought 3 -4packs last week. I'm gonna age 6 of the bottles. Fresh, it's amazing. Aged a year and it's gonna be un frikin believable!

Bagged a 4 pack on MA north shore, 16.49. I drank my 2013's last fall, and I remember vowing that I would drink my next 4 pack fresh. I've always drank it fresh and loved the hot bourbon notes, but the one time I aged it I thought it was too chocolatey and sweet and a little charred after a year. It became a beer that was less my taste.

I would say drink it fresh. We aged some last year and it was not nearly as good as it was when fresh.

Personally I think '15 needs to sit a bit. I prefer '14 over '15 right now.

Nice! Actually saw it at Ale Arsenal first but it was marked up. Figured it would show up at that WF. Ale Arsenal actually got Born Yesterday the day it was "Borned", and they had it on tap. Damn good! They get stuff early I think, which is the opposite of everywhere else in the county....San Mateo County lags way behind SF and SJ for deliveries, and to throw salt on that we don't get Pliny deliveries for some strange reason.
