Agreed. BB varies from beer to beer within the same four pack? No, not going to happen. Founders does sufficient blending after the barrel aging process and eliminates bottle to bottle variations. Anyone suggesting differently is not a credible reference.

Well, we could put it to an empirical test. I'll open all 4 bottles at the same time, have someone else pour them into different glasses, and see if I can pick out any variation. Of course, that means I'll have to drink all 4 bottles in one sitting, so as not to waste any. I think I'm willing to make that kind of sacrifice for "science!"

paid $6.95 a pc for 2 singles last night unfortunately, I've been trying to find/try them and haven't been too lucky so I figured I would take the hit!

inadequate blending is not the only potential cause of bottle to bottle variation.

I do not know why, my first time having it was this year at a Founders event...Fantastic beer.

It is readily available in Western New York. I grabbed a 4 pack and tried my first one yesterday and rather enjoyed it. Is it something I should be stocking up on while I have the chance??

I would say yes, but I'm not sure how long it hangs around in NY. Last year was my first year where I really discovered Backwoods, and was completely out and jonesing by December. Even went as far as to buy a bunch at $25/4-pack off craigslist. This year I did a bit better. Probably landed two cases and have two 4-packs left.

Will do. I will work a little OT and rationalize hiding more beer in the cellar :grinning:

Don't sound so bummed, it's more for a 6 oz. pour of BB at a bar. That's an okay price if your buying singles, of course, when you try it, you'll wish you had gotten more.

Still finding this everywhere in PA its a true sleeper beer with very little people hording it.

Seen it as low as 14.99 and as expensive as 15.99 both tax included. Best Bourbon bang for your buck!
