Love how this is hitting shelves and KY has yet to see any Harvest Ale.

 

Where do you go to in Venice for good craft? I have found one shop that I hit up when I visit my relatives there and while they seem to be very good with bringing in some more hard to find items their inventory didn't seem to change much.

 

No sightings in Michigan?

 

as usual we will probably be way behind from the breweries that are so close to us...

 

Disappointed would have loved to pick some up while in Michigan

 

Michigan was right on the front of Harvest Ale distro (my local shop in AA had it 8 days after bottling).

This situation seems like a case of distributors messing up and releasing a beer they aren't supposed to drop for another month or so.

 

Any idea when we might see this in upstate NY?

 

Also, may have definitely missed it in the replies, but what were prices for everyone for a 4 pack

 

The shop i work at, Island Time Spirits, is the only liquor/beer shop on Venice Island, and we have the BEST beer selection for many miles. Come in!

 

I texted my neighbor who is in the know. He confirmed that his Michigan distributor was told to wait until the 26th so sounds like some distributors jumped the gun.

My guys in Chicago 'burbs told me 10/30

 

Yeah, there was a huge Founders event for Cleveland Beer Week. Our rep was there and he told me it was the 2014 so people were checking it in wrong haha. It happens.

 

Any beer reps that distro' Founders in here? Mostly NY reps. It's seems like BB is everywhere there.

I'm interested to see why this is out so early in other(your) states. I see people implying that the distro's don't know wtf they are doing and are releasing it early.. I hardly doubt that is the case.

We will get "penalized" if we release beer early. It will get pulled and we won't get special releases anymore. Say the rep's anyway, so I don't actually know what happens if you do so. I guess Terrapin has this issue as well? I've seen more than a few complaints about their beers popping up in other states before their own.

 

The Founders rep was at a KBS tapping like night and she told me Bloomington will be getting it the first week of November which is the same time as always. Seems like it is always on tap somewhere on Veterans Day.

 

I've been told early Nov. by a couple of my beer shops in Philly.

 

Huh weird. I wonder why they're releasing it early this year. Not that I'm complaining!

 

Hunterdon Brewing has this on their new beers list for next week. Not always 100% that the beers on the list will actually get to the stores but looks like it could be hitting some NJ areas.
