Drinking like a nectar from the gods. Not boozy at all imo.

Keeping up with this thread. Posts from today motivated me to drink one of my 16's tonight to see what's happening. First, I had to wait to chill it so I drank a CW BBSA I put in my fridge the other day first. The CW was really sweet, little head, still good. The BB has a magnificent pour and great head as always. Bitterness others reported way back is definitely fading. There's still a "spiciness" happening, but that tones down as it warms up. I mean the back of the bottle does say "earthy spice" right there on the label, so there's that. IMO, tasting great, more and more like '15 with time, and I'm glad I have a lot of this. I love Founder's, but disagree with their "drink fresh" rec on this one. Curious as to what others are finding...

I have had one every week or two since November and for me, I liked it fresh but like it where it is right now better. I threw the rest of my stock in the fridge so it won't age as quickly.

I remember last year I had one in early Spring and it took on a bit of a vegetal note, some pungent greens crept up. I wasn't really a fan of that but right now that bitterness has faded, the booziness has come down, but the barrel is huge, lots of caramel and molasses going on. I love this beer and the 2016 did not disappoint.

Not the right thread but since talking 2016 Founders, I also cracked a 2016 KBS I threw in the fridge about 6 months ago - it's fantastic. Coffee is huge on that right now, chocolate there but less so - bourbon has come way, way, dangerously down.

Sounds like I need to dial up a side by side of my 14/15/16 of these (along with the many other planned tastings I have in my head!).
