Backwoods Bastard in Boston

There was plenty at the Whole Foods on River Street in Cambridge this past Sunday.

 

Was it out on display? Just called and two separate people didn't seem to know what it was.

 

called also (this past Sunday as a matter of fact), and was told they only got a case in and were sold out...

 

Nope, just in the cooler with everything else.

 

Anyone still looking? I'm out west traveling and there is a good amount. I would gladly bring some back on my return to MA on Sunday. A simple IP $4$ or something else in the days following in the Newton area would be ideal. If anyone is interested just let me know. No worries either way. Have a good weekend.

 

Thank you to @Sesmu for the tip about Apex in Lexington. I can confirm that they still have at least three 4-packs as of 20 minutes ago. Nice little place with a good selection all along one wall; talked with the gentleman there (Vlad) for a few, they just opened up in May.

 

There's a bunch of this stuff just sitting around in the Buffalo area. The clerk seemed to have no idea what it was, and couldn't fathom why anyone would spend $17 on a four-pack when he could get a case of Labatt's for the same price.

Any sightings? I called some places in Cambridge and couldn't find any. I look forward to this beer every year and for some reason completely forgot.
