Anybody BB in Connecticut yet? I have been on the hunt, but have yet to be able to nail down a place that has any. Suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks

Manchester Wine and Liquor is selling two bottles per person ($3.99 each I think, have to ask for it). Sonoma in Glastonbury posted its arrival on Facebook, but didn't indicate if there is any limit.

I saw four packs at Liquor Depot in Simsbury last night. Did not pay attention to the price.

It was just sold out at my local place (or allocated to regulars so I won't mention the store).... Everything was in the back. Could of missed out cause a guy came in and claims he was told he could have all or most of the only case they got... They offered him two four packs and he yelled at the guys, refused the two four packs, and left. I hate entitled beer a$$holes sometimes, but love when stores stand up to them.

I'm surprised at how different getting Backwoods Bastard has been this year vs. last year...last year it was on plenty of shelves, no limits, etc...I guess because Founders had just started in CT? I didn't expect how tough it would be to get some this year.

Amity in Hamden has a decent amount left, $16.99, I think it was.

If someone wants to trade I think my store still had 3 4packs left. I'm just looking for local dipa's.

that guy was just stupid. Take the 2x4pks and run! That's about as good as you can hope for.

The store I've been going to for almost 30 years got a case. 15.49 a 4pk. I was happy with what they let me buy

Got lucky last night, beer manager said a guy picked up the last 4pk yesterday morning then said actually hold on, walked in the cooler and said the guy never came and gave it to me. Rang up at 11.99, not mad about it

I heard a very similar story this weekend from an employee... guy walks into the store, claims he was told he could have 4 4packs and puts up a big stink when told that's not possible. Except this story ends with the employees saying F it and giving the guy what he demanded. Employee was mad because now other customers (like me!) were out of luck. New Haven area store.

Its probably the same guy, hitting the same New Haven 'chain'. F that guy seriously, and I also fault the employee who caved.

Yeah this wasn't that chain, but another one of the big stores in the area. I'm actually surprised the employee caved because he went on some wild rant about how humans have survived this long by sharing/leaving enough for others when telling me the story.

And to contribute something useful to this thread... It looks like Backwoods is still on tap @ Prime 16 in New Haven along with a lot of other awesome beers.

This release always baffles me. Some stores where you'd figure a lot would arrive get very low amounts and have to ration it out. Other stores get a ton and it rots on shelves. Last year I had no problem getting a couple of four packs, and I definitely could have gotten more if I wanted it.
