Backwoods Bastard in DC/VA?

    Any idea of when this will be hitting the area? Do all of the TW locations get a good amount, or is it a shit-show all around? I got 2 bottles from Conn Ave last year, but would rather not have to trade for a quantity. Any info is appreciated!

    I still have some BWB from last year. It's drinking really well now, but I'd definitely like to get my hands on more.

    It wasn't as easy to get as Founders RIS or Curmudgeon Old Ale, but it's not as limited as KBS. I got a few packs from Reston Whole Foods last year. I imagine this should be fairly easy to get.

    I still have a few from 2011. Had one recently, and it's a much, much more mellow beer than when new. I actually much prefer it fresh.

    I always found that was one of the easier "hyped" releases to find around Nova. K-1 is the secret spot :wink:

    Made a bunch of DC and VA calls and they all told me tomorrow. Enjoy. I'm flying out of town in the morning and will be gone until Friday. Hopefully there's some left this weekend.

    When I was down in NOVA for work, I found that the Total Wine in Springfield was the best hidden gem for limited release stuff. They don't seem to go through stock very quickly at all; stuff tends to sit and their KBS usually lasts far longer than most (though still not that long).

    TW McLean got three cases yesterday, said Chantilly got the same, I'd call to check in. Schneiders still had some as of half an hour ago. TW was $12.99, Schneiders was $15.99.
