Hey all Madisonians and those Wisconsinites within driving distance. What I'm about to do will almost certainly guarantee that I won't get anymore Backwoods Bastard, but as I've already gotten my fair allocation, I would like to be a good Samaritan and help out those who may have thought they missed out.

I was at Whole Foods on University Avenue earlier tonight and noticed that they had around 8 four packs left there. If you're interested, please go grab yourself one or two. They don't have a limit, and the price is $12 (cheaper than anywhere else that I found it), but please be courteous in thinking about other local BAs that may want to get their hands on a four pack as well. In other words, don't buy all eight.

Lastly, if you haven't had this beer before, I would recommend cellaring all four for an extended period. I had it for the first time the other night and was blown away by the bourbon forward qualities (in a not-so-good way). As a huge admirer of BCBS (which is still in stock at the little liquor store at the intersection of Regent and Allen streets, by the way), this was shocking to me. It wasn't bad, but I think the only way to experience its alleged greatness is aging. You needn't take my word for it; it's just some free advice.

    Happy hunting!
