Backwoods Bastard

I picked mine up today but I'm in Michigan, I was also extremely lucky, as I was talking to the owner of the beer store I went to about Backwoods Bastard and KBS and how much I like them he said "hey I might have something you may want, wait here" he returned from the back room with a bottle of this years KBS and a 2011 KBS and asked if I wanted them, obviously I said absolutely!!!

 

Word is Charlotte gets ours tomorrow

I remember back in the day my Raleigh buddy Dave bitching about Tryon delivering stuff to CLT first...seems that has flip flopped lately! Cheers!

 

I bought mine in Washtinaw County in Michigan but live in Wayne County which says it will not have it for another week or two, that is so wonkie....It's right next to each other.

 

In Greensboro today, it won't last until tomorrow. You probably have to be on a list, why so scarce? This used to sit for a month on the shelf a few years ago.

 

Better jump on that first thing tomorrow then. TW usually carries it too.

 

I think only Tasty Beverage got it in the Triangle today. I wonder if other stores will get it tomorrow or have to wait until Early next week?

 

TW on High Point rd didn't get any. Bestway is probably done. City Beverage had 2 cases.

 

Sam's got a bunch. I grabbed a 4-pack for $15.99. Still a good bit left as of an hour ago, but it seems to be going fast. If you miss out, let me know and I'll crack one with ya!

 

Was at Vintner Wine Market in Charlotte NC today and it was sitting on the shelves...not a bug fan so I bought a bunch of Founders Harvest instead.

I know of another Raleigh store that got a woefully small allocation, but enough that I got a 4pk yesterday. Probably won't open a bottle until tomorrow night, though.

 

Ouch... I only coughed up 12.50 and would do it again. And again. And again.

My day off I don't feel like chasing beer in Charlotte, Greensboro or Durham, yes. Love harvest, but I'll wait for Lagunitas Sucks.
