Seen harvest around at total wine, boozemart and a couple other places. Not sure it's worth picking up since it's a month after bottling, didn't have a great experience with that last year.
    Waiting impatiently on backwoods bastard...

They sold out of Backwoods within a couple of hours, as they only got a case.
They may still have Harvest. Not sure how much of that they got though.

Harvest Ale is crap, don't pick it up.

But do post where you see it.

Backwoods bastard: $14.99 4 pack at zipps, $12.99 at Total wine.
Got mine at zipps, much closer. And they have those great cellar sales I'm so fond of

I've found that using the Search function of Twitter can be helpful when looking for releases in the Metro, (If you go to advanced search, you can select, filter by current location) I know not all places use twitter, but many do. Sure you have to do a little bit of scrolling, but usually the "Top" mentions are relatively helpful

Had a Harvest Ale that was bottled on 9/30 last night and it by far had the best wet hop character out of the ones for the style I've tried this year. Green, dank, wet hoppy nose and taste. Guessing it was even better a month ago, but for some reason we always get it late here.

A good amount of the north metro stores are getting their backwoods allotment today. Try cellars in roseville or big top. If you go to enough shops today I'm sure you can find some! Good luck!

Snagged a 4pk at Edina Liquors on York, $15.99, had to ask and it looked like they were almost out.

Went to St Anthony Village and they wanted $5 for one bottle for Backwoods. I told them i wasn't paying that much for one bottle and left.

Backwoods is nice and all, but is there really that much demand for it? Splitting into singles seems a bit much for me.

It's just another symptom of Founders stretching themselves too thin for their special release beers. I was told there were a ridiculously low number of cases of Harvest Ale that reached MN. When you start seeing Harvest Ale parsed into singles, maybe it's time to go back to baseball cards.
