New-ish to trading and didn't find anything via search.

Do you guys think 1 Backyard Rye could pull two '14 Hunas? It seems unlikely to me.

1:2 is probably unrealistic, but 1:1 doesn't seem right either. As far as we know, Backyard was a one-off, whereas Huna is released every year. Maybe Backyard for Huna+?

Yeah but you had to risk bodily harm and the chance of getting Hunahpu'd in Florida to get your bottles of Huna.:grimacing::flushed:

Serious answer, I think you can expect 1:1. Backyard flew off the shelves in the same way that Huna probably will when it reaches distro next year. Probably similar bottle count too, though don't quote me on that.

I would venture to say that anyone who got huna and intends on drinking it has plenty of backyard too. It was released in Florida this year and wasn't extremely difficult
    To land a couple bottles.

I've seen huna go for more than backyard, and go for backyard plus but never backyard for huna+. Now if CCB makes an assload more huna to take care of it's people who have not gotten bottles yet and people lie and end up with an entire case, then I would venture to say it would go for backyard 1:1.

It may be a one-off but it's still very much in circulation amongst beer geeks. Maybe in 2 years or so when it's one-off status has appreciated from fewer bottles in existence, but until then, right now 1:1 seems about right. #beerfuturesprogram

right, it's one of those things where it recently came out so a good amount of it is out there. but next year at this time, it will probably be about what Cherry Rye is now as more and more of these existing bottles get drunken up and nothing replaces them. and in 2 years what Bramble is now, etc. whereas in a year Huna 15 will be out and will be equivalent to Huna 14 is now.

I think basically 1:1 is close right now. if anything would skew that it's how much Backyard went into Florida, and I don't know how much or how little did.

1:1 is about right. I've seen it done more than once.
