    Hi guys !

I need to know what kind of bactericide (not corrosive) I can use to keep clean the water inside my jockey box (250 qts. aprox.). Coils inside this jockey box are made with stainless steel.

    Many greetings from Argentina !!

Are you asking how to kep the insides of the coils sanitary, or the inside of the box?

Inside of Coils: I flush with water, then starsan solution. The starsan solution doesn't hurt stainless steel.
Inside of Box: I just drain and let dry. Are you leaving water in your box after use? If so, why?

I run alot of cold water through the coils before putting away. No soaps, cleaners, nothing.
The faucet and coupler is cleaned with a brush and soapy water. Thats it.

Stainless tubing is smooth. I would not let any warm beer sit in the tubing for very long, rinse the coils as soon as you are done, right after you dump the ice.

Rinse with alot of cold water before use as well.

Jockey boxes dont get used long enough for an infection to get hold. You certainly want to be sanitary but you dont really need to be as rigorous as you might think.
    Cheers. Enjoy the winter too!

Sorry, I didn´t mention my box doesn´t use ice, it has an electric refrigerating system that uses a compressor as it was a fridge. So I don´t need to drain the inside box water because it is already cold, but I need something to control bacteria and fungus because they get my box dirty and moldy if I do not treat this water.
