    @Jerseybeerlover609

    He has supposedly sent two packages that got lost (even one getting lost would be first for me). He sent me a tracking number for a third on 2/12. The tracking page says only the label has been created, nothing ever got dropped off.

    I know its my fault since I never formally made a trade arrangement so I cant leave bad feedback. I also dont expect this post to last very long, but the guy should be called out.

    I dropped off his package on 1/14. Trade was Gbot+ for that weekends Other Half release (the Tired Hands collab).

    I've been lucky thus far in trading to not have been screwed, I guess its bound to happen.

    Are you speaking of "Oat Overdose"?

    If so, I'll send a can your way. :slight_smile:

    Since it's still ongoing you might want to open a trade request. Even if the horse is already outside the barn so to speak.

    Sorry about your situation @edallolie . Can you explain what you had both agreed to prior to sending and what happended with the trade request? Did he not accept your request or you "agreed" to trade but never formally requested the trade? The more details, the better in these situations so that we can try to help, cheers!

    Why was there no formal trade request? I feel for you, but the trade system was set up to help in these situations and by not using it you are setting yourself up to get burned. I'm not even sure a bad trader thread is warranted when the system isn't even used.

    Sorry , that's a bad situation you're in. It's not all your fault, but not a good start. You've made several trades already, that's odd you didn't create a formal request. Was it a friend or previous trading partner?

    @edallolie
    Just some friendly advice: If you are going to start a *Bad trader* thread to warn the community or get their help, advice, input,etc.....you have to stay on top of the thread and answer all questions fielded your way.

    Speaking of questions...
    Do you have the complete convo with all the details in regards to the trade?

    Just trying to warn everyone. I dont expect any kind of resolution. I didn't bother with a request since he had some completed trades, I know that's my mistake. I guess he picks and chooses when to be a dirt bag.

    I still have the convo in my inbox. I dont know how to post it here.

    First of all he only made 6 trades, and 2 of them were IP. That's not a huge track record.
    Regardless if the other partner has traded a few times or a hundred times, you MUST use the established system of trading for your protection.

    You've tried contacting him via cell # and/or email?

    Ehhhh its just beer, Im not trying to stalk the guy. I posted this to the "bad trader list" on FB too. He is well known, with 5 minutes people had posted pretty much all of his personal info.

    Again, I just posted this to make others aware of him. I'm not one for confrontations unless really provoked. I've been robbed for worse than a pack of Gbot.

    According to this, your main goal was to warn others about him. Seems as though that goal has been met and you don't seem too concerned with getting the beer that is owed to you. This can probably be closed being that it's "just beer" right? :rolling_eyes::rolling_eyes:

    I'm not saying to stalk the guy. But on your part, you should be trying to contact him via email / text. If you don't have that info, ask his previous trading partners.

    Relax people, no need to kill the OP. Yes he should use the trading the system but he didn't. Ire should be directed at bad trader in question. And if other traders see threads like this and the heat OP is getting, in future they may be hesitant of making a thread like this which trade request or not warns other traders.

    Bad traders existed before the trade request system. Request or not, he's making others aware.

    He should also do his part and try to get contact the guy in other means, at least. It gives the community a better picture of the person and sometimes results in a resolution.

    He doesn't seem all that concerned about a resolution so there is no reason for him to try and contact the guy other than to call him a douche for not following through, which he is.

    First, I want to thank @edallolie for bringing this trader to the communities attention. I know some members were critical that he didn't *exactly* follow protocol/rules for posting (trade request). Although *speeding* is against the law, I'm sure everyone of us has broken that rule or law atleast once since you got your license :wink:. In this case, he did us all a favor.

    The complete convo between the parties involved was read, so there was due diligence on our part. There was also a "tip" from an outstanding member of the community thrown our way linking @Jerseybeerlover609 to the same person who was banned previously in a *bad trader* thread last year.

    Bottom line- banned user who reopened an account and was caught and now banned again.

    Take note of this name in case he decides to show up again & screw someone else over

    It also looks like a previous trade partner of @edallolie is sending him a *surprise* box (yes he already knows of said box) to help make this right.

    Locked & left up for reference.

    Cheers,
    Dave
