Bad Trader Alert - Newkidroundhere

I disagree with this *if* he makes things right. Every trader needs to make their own call as to whether they would trade with this person, but late follow up and completion of a trade is better than none.

"trade with caution"? surely.

Perhaps we can work this type of situation into the trader feedback system. I know you're all skeptical that it will ever come to pass, but it's closer than you think.

This thread has drawn a response from the accused, so let's see what happens in the near (and I do stress near) future. Hopefully, it works out.

 

If you make a trade and you ship your beer..... and 3 months later you get your beer. Good trader or not?

Not.

Because he "eventually" comes through still makes him a bad trader. Good trader = prompt and good communication. Neither applies.

 

As long as the person maintains good communication I am fine with delays. Rob has been responsive to me throughout our trade and he came to this thread to respond. I believe him when he says he intends to make this right because if he intended to screw anyone over he would be long gone by now.

That is just my $.02.

 

Long delays? Nah, I only trade what in my hand, and it's out in a week or less. There is a difference between a bad trader and a beer thief. It sounds like he'll make good, but he wouldn't be on my trade list.

 

I just love how when "life happens", let's fuck over the person on the interwebs that trusted us blindly that we would follow through in a timely manner.

Tons of good traders have live happen to them every day. The difference between them and people that get these threads started about them is that their trading partners never know it.

Good traders sometimes are really bad traders that life has not happened to yet.
IE you cannot tell where priorities are until shit happens.
