Bad Trader: BarofGold

just checked the history-- my trade with barofgold was back in nov., before this current bad deal... I was cleaning up some old open feedback stuff which is why the feedback is of a recent date.... the trade did go smoothly though....

 

@Ready4aHeady it's good to see that. If possible, could you edit your fb to reflect that the trade occurred in Nov? I'm glad it's not a recent trade.

Unfortunately, BarofGold seems to have some very good history which is -imo- almost irrevocably tainted by recurring bad experiences.

Nsheehan's idea of an avatar banner is terrific. I imagine they could still trade successfully but it would require additional diligence & care on their part, which is exactly where most are already lacking.

I've seen people with negative or neutral fb that I'd trade with. If the problem was that the trader was slow or disorganized I'd just ask that s/he ship 1st. Lying, cheating, renegotiating, nooo.

However, with all I've seen on these threads, I'd message the members who had bad or questionable experiences 1st. I'd also question trading with members who have multiple qualified positives, ie made it up with extras.
