I setup a trade with @Beergeeksa210 for my VR for his Atrial, Feb Tao, and Aurelian Lure. The trade was agreed and finalized on Oct. 7th and both agreed to ship on the 12th since Aurelian Lure isn't release until the 10th. I shipped my bottles out on the 12th but he didn't because he said he's been busy with work. I didn't think to much about it because he's a long time trader. He said he would ship on Tuesday, the 13th, after work. Didn't hear back from him so I contacted him on Wednesday, the 14th, and he said while he was packaging the bottles he accidently drop the Atrial and the bottle top came off (?). He then asked if it okay for him to replace the Atrial with another bottle of Aurelian Lure. I told him no, Atrial was my main want from the trade. He said he would check with a couple of his buddy and see if he can get another bottle. Didn't hear back from him so I reached out to him on the 19th. He said he had a ip trade for the Atrial but then the dude backed out. He the said that he would return my VR and the extras I sent him and some local to make up for the hassle and shipping cost. Didn't hear back from him with the tracking number or that he dropped off my box so I reached out to him on the 23rd. He said his secretary dropped off the box yesterday, 22nd. I asked him for a tracking number and he said he will get it from his secretary and forward it to me. Shockingly, I didn't hear back from him at all. I send him a message on beer advocate and a text on the 29th and haven't heard back.

At this point I'm done tracking him down and try to get him to send me my beer. I would like my VR back or the beer that's owed to me. But I'm don't want to waste any more of my time. I'm going to drink the beer I have and enjoy this hobby. I'm going to stick with my regulars and ip going forward since you can't even trust someone with 30 completed trade.

Holy crap - based on these 2 threads he is spinning the same stories to different people, and has a history of doing so... So sorry to anyone who is dealing with this guy.

Can you or @Raj message me his real name, and any other information you have on him? The last time something like this happened, we made sure to have the offender banned from all of the TX Facebook trading groups as well. Thanks!

Hi... I'm pretty sure I'm the guy that "backed out" of his IP trade.

Truth is, we had a trade set up and we were supposed to meet at jester king for it, he said he had some sort of emergency and didn't show up. The kept giving excuses for about two more weeks until I was fed up with it (considering at one point he said he was in town but rarely returned my texts when I tried to meet up).

So he had told me he would go to jester king "on the next release", and sure enough that weekend there was a release, and he tells me he's out of town and won't make it out. I wanted the beers for a share that I didn't expect to get here before meeting up with him and sure enough that happened. So I told him to forget it.

To me out seemed like he was going to pull through at first, but if he did that to me on an IP trade. Can't imagine the excuses he gave you guys.

It sounds like this dude is in over his head with too many trades.

On the other hand, its sounding like he's a scammer and flake

Most of the San Antonio guys seem to have no idea who he is (not a good sign), but I did find out (ironically? coincidentally?) that he actually works at a beer store.

I imagine his secretary at the beer store is to blame for all of these misunderstandings.

I'm not one for pushing the limits or seeking any confrontation, but in this case I honestly think that maybe a phone call to his work speaking to his boss about the *character* of the bad trader in question is warranted. If his antics outside of work are chaotic, I can't imagine that he's a model employee.

I've done an IP trade with him. Send me a PM and maybe I can get in touch with him about your bottle. I also know where he works.

Some may think that is going too far, but I think that is awesome! Well done sir - this dude needs to feel some pressure so he makes goodcon his promises!

Going over his head and promise bottles he does not have or not have yet and had to back out I understand. But not giving the bottle back when you can't come up with your bottle is downright stealing.

Update: @Beergeeksa210 just messaged me and explained the delay and confusion was due to a miscommunication with his secretary. He also sent me the tracking number for my box. I'll resind and delete this thread once I receive my box.

Is this serious or a joke?

And even if you do get your box he is a bad trader. This thread should remain and you should leave feedback specifying all the problems you had. This will help prevent the next batch of traders from getting burned.

Damn secretary's, always stopping folks from getting boxes out and keeping folks from replying to people in a timely and courteous manner. I picture her/him hiding the trade boxes, and stealing this guy's smart phone, and disabling his computer so he couldn't respond

Is he serious with this crap? His "secretary"? What sort of person at a beer store has a secretary?

And looking at his profile, he has no mutual friends with me either - which sorta surprised me.
