My trader feedback says it all. I gave the OP my word that he would have tracking today and he will. Simple as that.

Didn't you also tell OP that you were "shipping tomorrow" and that you were "definitely shipping on Monday" at previous points in time over the past few months, or were those not "your word?"

I guess that’s one way to approach it... Not sure how 30 completed trades makes you above questioning based on what the OP shared but you do you, man.

None of you are making this any easier for me. Do you have any idea the shit I'm dealing with now? If he doesn't want to publicly explain his side of the story, then he doesn't have to. For every single one of you who call him out over this, I have to face the repercussions, and I can only take being bitched at for so long over this. And for the person who said you'll tag him if I don't, why don't you step forward and get me out of this mess now. Now I'm the bad guy here.

What "repercussions" are you possibly having to face over this lol? I'm not trying to be a jerk, I'm sincerely asking.

    Until now ...
    Come on man.

I am confused ... what did you think was going to happen starting this thread? Thats the whole point of a bad trader thread - calling out the bad trader and ensuring that they follow through or get booted. If he is "bitching at you" for this thread (assuming your story is correct) after he's the one who caused it with his repeated failures to follow through then you shouldn't feel bad.

I just ran a quick fact check is all.

Don't forget everyone that has visited this thread is a trader and we do not want to be in the position you have been placed in. If he is indeed a 'bad trader' we want to know so we can avoid him. If not, then so be it. We also deserve to know at this point

While you're dropping tracking #'s, go ahead and drop the one that was returned with a shipping exception. That'll go a long way for some credibility. Also, who the hell withholds tracking #'s like it's a privilege to have?

Why are you blaming everyone else for the repercussions of this Bad Trader (BT) thread??
YOU started this bad trader thread in very dramatic fashion (not willing to tag the possible BT) and then when the thread works & gets the possible BT to finally take action you get pissed at others for some "repercussions". Quit being a narcissist, BT threads aren't for or about you they exist for the entire community therefore everyone has a right to question the possible BT to make a determination whether it is someone that we would like to work with in the future

????? Reading your post, I feel as if I'm reading a book that's missing a few chapters.

The whole point of this thread is/was try to make sure you got your beer as agreed upon, along with an explanation as to what went wrong in this case (from a community protection standpoint, as @7irondave alluded to). I'd still like to hear an explanation from @bstyle, but regardless, as long you get the beer that was promised you, that's really the main thing. In any event, I'm not sure I understand what sort of "shit" you're having to deal with. What exactly have you done that would cause @bstyle to be upset with you?

Frankly, I could care less about his sterling trade history, and I'm not really happy about the lack of explanation I've heard so far from @bstyle. I don't know how many BT threads you've participated in, but in many ways @bstyle's behavior is classic BT behavior. Please correct me if this isn't what transpired, but this is what I'm seeing:

You guys agreed to trade some beer and you shipped your part of the bargain around X-mas time. I gather your trading partner had no complaints with what he received; you were patient and initially you stayed in contact. After roughly 2 months, you started to become a bit less patient, and you asked for a firm shipping date. This was apparently after he had told you he was going to ship the box several times, but for whatever reason, didn't get around to it. Even his latest promises and explanations for why you didn't get your box right away sound more than a bit fishy I think. Based on what you told us, it certainly seemed to me as if your trading partner was stringing you along.

As so often happens, once you tagged your trading partner, all of sudden he's falling all over himself to get your box in the mail. However, rather then apologizing or providing some sort of explanation for his actions, all of sudden he's the victim, the one that's being unfairly picked on.

Again, at least to me, this sounds like pretty classic BT behavior. Happily, it sounds like this BT thread is going to have a good outcome, You're apparently going to get your beer. I'm really not sure what else you were hoping for in this case. I presume you didn't think @bstyle was going to be jumping for joy when he found out he'd been tagged in a BT thread.

Honestly dude, I'm a little worried at how adding up all of your posts kind of sounds like a case study progressively laying out classic warning signs of an abusive relationship. What are you so worried about?

Update: Trader has informed me that the box was dropped off two hours ago, and I have been given a tracking number that should hopefully have an ETA tomorrow when it ships.

Trader does not want to address anything in this thread, and I will not push him to do so. Evidently, I made a mistake here, and this was neither a necessary, nor appropriate course of action. While this whole thread resulted in the one thing I did not want to happen - cutting ties with the trader, I hold no guns, and wish him the absolute best. He is not a bad trader, this is just a case of poor communication, and I am at fault for creating the thread. I trust the trader, and I apologise for dragging him into this. I do not wish for this to harm his reputation in any way, and I thank him for the trade. Let's put this to rest, and I trust the agreed-upon box will arrive shortly.

I thank most of you for your feedback and information, and the rest of you contributed absolutely nothing useful to this thread, and I encourage everyone to remember where they are and why.

Requesting for this to be closed. I trust the trader has taken care of this.

@SierraNevallagash , in the future you may want to post a thread like this in the "trade talk" forum instead. By starting a bad trader thread and proceeding to present a story of what appears to be a bad trader incident you have to realize that other traders are going to want names, that's the point of this forum. Also, your trading partner behaved poorly here, if you want to be a conscientious member of the community please at least note that communication was poor and there were several delays when you leave your feedback.
And unless @bstyles wants to add anything we will all be left to decide for ourselves whether we would want to deal with a trader who behaves in this way

Woooooooooooow. Thread delivers. 9/10. Can be summed up in one sentence.

I wouldn't trade with either of these folks.

Guy finally sends after his name is mentioned here. Seems like this thread did its job. I for one, definitely have him on my personal do not trade list. At least until he provides the tracking number for the delivery exemption.

Is this ready to be closed? Trader has provided a tracking number - FedEx 390804446555 - and I trust this should be the end of it. Trader has stated they will not be addressing any questions in this thread, and has requested I close it, which I should be okay with, now that tracking has been provided.

Given his history, I'm going to leave this open till you actually receive your box. That's how previous BT threads were handled, and I think it's how this should be handled as well. Just in case there happens to be another delivery exception occurrence.
