Bad Trader @DSho

He is a police officer? That would make me a little nervous right there.

 

Glad this thread saved at least one box then. My trade started as my Flora BB, Elaborative 5 and 4 pack of Alchemist for his DBH and we expanded for BA Dark Lord and '14 BCBCS. Same deal here. He had reputation under old system and was super responsive so I didn't doubt him at all.

 

OP, firstly good luck with this situation. Hope it works out in the end. Not singling you out but in light of a couple recent bad trader threads, it cannot be emphasized enough that a trader with little or no trade feedback on BA should always ship first. Always. It doesn't matter if they claim successful trades outside of BA. And the package should be received and confirmed before the experienced trader ships on their end. It's a cardinal rule when trading on BA really and would have helped prevent these types of scenarios from occurring. Again, hopefully these work out in the end.

 

I totally agree with you. Had his trading been on other sites I would have asked him to ship first. He has trades on BA under his profile. But it was the old system. So I was ok shipping at the same time. In retrospect I would say that the trades should be under the new system to count.

Agree on bringing this to the surface and naming him ASAP. If he's got 10 open trades going, a phony phone number and given the very lopsided nature of your trade, this smells big time like a scam in process. Need to put the other traders on high alert here. Hope it pans out, but this doesn't sound good.

Another big sign... He is trading a CBS for a DBH but then trading a DBH for HF and Alchemist. This is Super shady.

 

I think the trade was for his DBH and his CBS. He had mentioned to me that he had CBS available as well.

That's the final alarm bell, need to get this fleshed out ASAP. Hopefully some of the damage with others can be nipped in the bud here.

 

I guess you can add me to this thread...I'm having the same issue with this guy. We made a trade agreement for a case of TH hops(KJ,JM etc) last Thursday for VRx2 and he said he wanted to ship before the weekend...he had no recorded trades and I requested that he ship first, but he talked that same nonsense of having recorded trades on the old system. I send a trade request that he never sign off on. I had a real bad feeling about this guy so I never shipped(Thank god). I just logged on this morning to look at the DSho conversation to retrieve the cell number he sent me with his address and saw he was added to the bad trader forum...so here I am.

Hey RNbeerfan, I done trades with you in the past and I still have your number saved, I'll text you his number if you want, sorry to see you going through this bullshit.

It seems like all his trades are for some serious quantity of IPAs. How many IPAs can this man finish before they begin to fade?

 

What area of FL did you ship to? There may be people on here who know him offline.

 

Thanks @AJ721. I remember the trade, you were super generous. I have a number that he provided to me for the shipment. I did send a couple messages to him there with no response. @Seamus I shipped to Longwood which appears to be near Orlando.
