Hope you guys got some kind of info on the facebook groups, because my coworker hasn't talked to him in a few years. Sorry I couldn't get more for you.

Thanks for trying. Hoping to find some sort of resolution there as well.

I'm one of open trades, said he had Clover x2 for a bunch of big bottles on my end. Sent a trade request and he accepted immediately. Great communication up to the point I requested tracking information prior to shipping on my end. I waited to ship, even after he assured me he shipped Friday Oct 14. He had a story about the hurricane and his wife flying back from Vt. with the bottles, just didn't seem right. Sorry to hear others shipped out, sadly I think he offered big beers to reel people in. 33 great trades and this is my first bad one. Anybody have advice on if I should leave negative feedback or cancel the trade, looks like he is banned? If cancel, any advice on how to go that route? Cheers and thanks all for the great community on here.

Note, when you are requesting that the other party ship first, your box should not be shipped until you have rec'd your box & all beers have been accounted for.

Shipped boxes can be recalled almost up until they're delivered. This has been used by legit traders reclaiming beers that were headed to a scamming thief. Alternatively, it's also been used by scammers who convinced the other party to ship once they established that their box was en route.

Another concern is that the shipped box might not contain all of the beers agreed to or other beers might have been substituted.

Yet another possibility is a lost box or broken bottles. Inexperienced traders might not grasp that the responsibility to make it right in such scenarios rests with them.
