Hm, alright. I've really tried to be patient. I'll wait until the morning. If we've not received an update from him at that point, I will leave negative feedback. It's really unfortunate. I've messed up on trades in the past re: timely shipping. And I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt l because I know that time just got away from me in those instances and I felt like shit about it. Hopefully he replies.

You can leave him negative feedback and then adjust it if circumstances dictate.

Negative feedback left. I'm not sure how long these threads remain open for, but my intention is not to drag him through the mud. Mods: you can close it if need be. I'm not sure what else can be done in this situation.

If I am getting this right the dude had over 30+ trades completed and wouldnt come off as some thief. Not to back him up but I hope this get solved. Whilst people in these threads sometimes come up with sketchy excuses this guy might be going through something in his life. Good luck OP.

Past trade history means very little, especially to OP who had his time wasted. If something serious had come up, then why log in to BA but not respond to OP's messages?

Absolutely. And I'm completely understanding of that - hence my hesitation in creating the thread, tagging him and leaving negative feedback. I'm just not sure why there was a loss of contact after my last messages were sent. By all accounts, he has been a great trader to work with and was quite cordial with me up until he went MIA. I really hope everything is ok on his end.

Ultimately, I agree. He can find a moment just to tell the OP he is trading with things have been delayed for some reasons. He hasnt logged in in three days now and I know that people dislike having their patience tested.

The trader in question seems to be enjoying himself based on his recent untappd activity. Even tipping back a few Other Half offerings over the weekend as well it seems :flushed:

Bad trader tag applied till we get some type of explanation.

But please, change the fb only if circumstances indicate negative isn't deserved. Rarely is this the case when it's reached the point where a bad trader thread has been started.

Wow, great detective work. That's crazy, guy goes MIA, but has been drinking steadily since last week, even checked in a beer two hours ago.

Unless OP story isn't accurate, this guy is a major dbag.

My guess is that will happen fairly soon now.

Nothing like application of the tag to get someone's immediate attention, with a near immediate response (no matter how many days they've been "off line.")

Hey! Not one of us here can say we haven't checked in a nice IPA (or four) while at a funeral

So I just searched for his handle on Untappd as well and saw that he has been drinking all of the same beers I was supposed to trade him in the days since our trade was to be conducted. The trade was as follows:

    2 OH Tropical Depression
    2 OH Greenprint
    2 OH Baby Diamonds
    FOR
6 TBD Tree House cans which he was supposed to pick up on Wednesday. He was on his way to TH during his last correspondence with me last Wednesday. He definitely acquired what he went there for since he just drank an Alter Ego.

It appears that he found another trader for the cans - perhaps at a better ratio (it's all I can assume at this point) - and figured he'd just back out of our trade. This is a really unfortunate conclusion to this story.

Yep, sounds like he bailed on your accepted trade for another offer, then took the cowards way out and ignored you and stopped coming on BA.

IMHO opinion bad trader should be given 3 or 4 more days to tell his side of story or man-up, if not he should be sent packing.

On a side note, my intention was to trade these 6 cans. In everyone's opinion, how much longer should I hold onto these cans for? I'm really not sure what the appropriate time to wait is in a situation like this.
