Down the right hand side there is a list, for the bad traders with one submission the list is in alphabetical order but stops at "b". There has to be a lot more people on this list then what is showing. Is there a way to see the entire list?

    Doesn't look Alphabetical to me.

It's alphabetical by number of "bad" trades.

I agree with the OP, it's odd it stops at the B's for 1 bad trade.

The list isn't a list of bad traders per se. It's a list of TOP bad traders, just like the list of TOP good traders. Un/fortunately, the list has a large number of 1-time bad traders and alphabetical is the only that makes sense so it appears that the list is in complete. I can see a complete list makes some sense, but it's just as prudent and better to simply check the potential trading partner's rating instead of having a "complete" list with a bunch of 1.

Except that there were a ton of bad traders before the current system was put in place, so a complete list is much, much better, & will be for some time to come.

How can I get a trader added to this list? I had a trade that the trader skirted my request for the trade in the system and it is still showing as a pending request. I should have held on to the beer before he accepted but I was pretty new to it at that time. I understand the process much better now.

My understanding is that bad traders prior to the new system were marked with negative feedback(s) through batch import, then the top bad trader list is pulled from there. That means that if you check the profile of a potential trading partner and if he had a bad trade reported, it's there as a negative feedback, regardless of whether or not they are displayed on the Top bad traders list. Maybe @Todd can shed more light on this.

    This is correct.

I have a bad trade that was imported from the old list so you can check out how the ratings for that show up by looking at my profile.

I have a 0%/1 so it looks like I am a shitbag until you click on the link and it says no trades ever under the new system.
@kaips1, the dickhead in question, has 0%/0 until you click the link and it shows as an imported bad trade.

The list shows 25 bad traders; ordered by number of bad trades, followed by username.

We can definitely look into creating a page to view all bad traders.

This would be great and provide value. I understand the point made about looking up traders individually, but a case can be made for seeing a comprehensive bad traders list.

    Thanks!!

This definitely can be misleading since some people may not know to click on that link and would only think that this is a new trader. There should be some way to convey negative feedback at this level. I like the way eBay does the feedback using percent positive out of total feedback received, not over total transactions completed. Example:

    Seller information

    eshop-best (303307 ) [IMG]
    99.2% Positive feedback

This way, regardless of whether or not the trade was "counted" (as it is, I believe it shows at this level as a trade only if both sides left feedback), negative feedback score is always accounted for and reflected in the display of the rating clearly.
