Yep and one of the beers featured on it I sent him...still haven't received his end for that one either.

It takes a lot of balls and lack of shame to still be active on this site and be some prominent on the bad traders list.

He was blog posting and tweeting about drinking the beer I sent and the beer he was supposed to send me. In the end I got some semblance of the deal we agreed upon. Still a major regret of mine for at least not issuing a warning about this guy. He was the first terrible experience I had in over 50 trades at the time. I kept thinking that he would make it right and he had a decent rep.

Lesson learned and I feel terrble about anybody else that got burned by this dickbag.

 

I did an in person with Schmoops last year. It was a very difficult process. I showed up to meet him. He was somewhere else, but said he would be there in about an hour. No big deal it was a restaurant/bar and I was going to eat anyways. Hour rolls by, he doesn't show. I call him and he is across town at home. I end up driving there and meet him, trade goes off successfully. I can see how this guy has made his way onto the bad traders list now looking back at the difficulties I encountered on an in-person.

 

to be able to have an in-person trade go badly is a rare gift.

I wouldn't have bothered going to his house. There must have been a pretty damn good beer involved. In fact, please tell me this was the case.

And using his name and doing a search on IMDB, I see that someone with that name has 1 credit as a driver on some film I've never heard of. He IS a star!
