Well guys, it's happened again. A little while back I should add. Way too much time has passed on this one and too many excuses.

So a thread had been posted when EvilAsh first started to think he'd never get his beer. Since then it was obviously deleted and he had been reported to me.

I contacted both members like I always do and oliver replied once with an excuse (also saying tracking would be provided very shortly) then nothing.

I did my best to get you your beer EvilAsh with no luck. At least now people know not to deal with this shady guy.

    Jon

(As always, all the info is on the list.)

Can one of you post the situation again? I've met the guy a few times and I thought he was overseas currently. He's in the military.

Then he shouldn't be setting up beer trades. Simple as that.

Thanks again for your continued hard work oldport!

Thanks for answering my question. Not sure why you feel the need to respond to me with this statement. Did I condone anything? No. I just asked for the story.

Did I direct that at you? No. I just used your quote to state that anyone who is overseas, or has the potential to go overseas at any moment, shouldn't be setting up beer trades. Relax bro.

Yes he told me that he had been deployed but didn't matter because his wife had the box. But yeah if you won't be home or are tight on budget then it's simple.. Don't trade and don't think about trading.

    Nevermind. Let's stop this now.

I can post all the detailed dates of everything tomorrow, but we set this trade up mid to late April. He had enough time to drink every beer I sent him and check them in on Untappd, yet no time to ship his end of the deal (he had many weeks) before he deployed.

SGToliver, I hope you read this. In the grand scheme of things, the total good of serving our great nation overseas probably makes up for you stiffing a fellow BA on a trade. Nevertheless you are sort of a jerk to me and I will NOT trade with you. Still, I feel obliged to thank you for your service and I'll be cracking a cold one tonight in your honor.

I definitely appreciate his service to this great country as well, which is why I've been as patient as I have. It's been 3 months, so I think I gave him the benefit of the doubt for long enough...

But his service to the United States has nothing to do with the tardiness... He told us many times that his wife had the beer and that she'd ship it out. He has no excuse

I just left a fairly succinct message on the blog listed in his profile.
Looks like there are 2 authors, so pay attention to that.
Says it awaiting moderation I am not sure if others can see it but I can see the comment I just posted.

Had some time to think on what I posted. While I still support are troops, I will not be drinking a beer in honor of SGToliver tonight. If he's the kind of person who would steal from a fellow BA, he's not the kind of person that needs to be serving our country. Instead I will be cracking a cold one for all the men and women serving our country HONORABLY! I only hope SGToliver's lack of ethics don't carry over into his career during deployment and embarrass America abroad.

There it is, he had the time to drink them, and he could have spent 2 minutes to box it up and drive it to UPS.

Sorry here , I'm ex military and my son is currently in some shit hole on the Afgan/ Pakastani border, so I'm sympathetic to a point with his being in hell, but it has nothing to do with a guy burning a fellow BA for beer. If the beer is home and boxed why doesn't she ship it?
