Yes, and Im assuming none of us are licensed? 999,999 times out of 1,000,000 those are commercial licenses.

 

Yeah, read further. not an option for consumers as a method of shipping. so, 1,000,000 out of 1,000,000. And this is mostly used for wine, btw.

 

I'm in CO and they knew it so according the person I talked to it wasn't against their policy as long as an adult signed for it

 

Not to repost the incomplete info from above, but the following is true:

• State law, as well as FedEx policy, requires an adult signature at the time of delivery for every package containing alcohol. It is the shipper’s responsibility to ensure an adult is available to sign for the shipment at delivery, and to select the appropriate signature service so that FedEx is alerted to the adult signature requirement as a condition of delivery of the shipment. If a shipper fails to follow the procedures outlined herein, the shipment will be deemed undeliverable. Violations may result in suspension or termination of your FedEx account.

but, all of that is PROVIDED THAT YOU HAVE A LICENSE TO DO SO. Such licenses are commercial type licenses. Gotta read the whole thing, folks.

 

I'm only saying they held the box, told me to send a new label with signature required. I did, they put the new label on the box and they delivered the box no problem

 

Is @mendvicdog going to respond? He was last on 40 minutes ago. Own up and finalize the trade like it was agreed to.

 

It sucks that your beer was confiscated, but it's time to make this right. Ship via UPS or arrange an IP trade. Might want to throw in an extra 6-pack of fresh IPA or a bomber of something as a thank-you for the patience the OP displayed.

 

This is really all that needs to be said. Trading comes with risks. It totally sucks to lose something, but it is time to fix the situation.

 

Had a problem with FedEx in VT. No problem with UPS or USPS though.
