    I'm hoping this is just late to update. While we're on the subject, I've found it also matters where it gets dropped off. If I'm dropping off at a FedEx/UPS store, it gets scanned at drop off and then when it leaves there. If I'm dropping off at a shipping store that works with them (I've stopped doing this because of this issue) it sometimes doesn't show anything at all until it pops up that it's out for delivery, sometimes 1-2 days later.

    Based on the BT's post above, he mentioned it was dropped off at 85th & State line which seems to indicate a FedEx location. Around me, the last time for ground pickup at the FedEx store is 6pm. I would have expected tracking to have updated already but perhaps it is just late to update for some reason as you mention. Should see something today, hopefully.

    Update 3:10 p.m.
    No movement.

    I called the location, they don't have the package.
    As per the very nice man I spoke to, if they had the package, tracking would be updated to say that the package was being held at the location.

    Shady. Strange that they came on this thread at all. Wish I could help you out with that brew, I know how generous you are with helping out traders and sharing great brews.

    I don't know where or what the situation is in Kansas (BT's location). I live in a rural area and the FedEx updates take a long time. But this seems way past that possibility.

    Appreciate it. I was keeping an eye on the clock to see when the 24 hour mark hit. I'm not going to lose sleep over it. I hope he enjoys the beer and the feeling that he got over on me.

    Are you buying time or did you just not send the box? Help yourself here @TheColoradoPursuit I think most people are understanding/reasonable if you would just communicate.

    I'm starting to believe this is the unluckiest guy in the world as Fedex has already lost two of his boxes. I may send him one as I feel bad now. :rolling_eyes:

    I agree, it makes no sense.

    I keep on thinking and hoping that there has to be some logical explanation for what we're seeing, that this really can't be what took place... but so far, I haven't come up with any other interpretation for the actions of the BT.

    Just a note on these FedEx labels - if you have a FedEx account you can set up the shipping label online, print it out and put it on the box. At that point, once its created, you have a tracking number and its in FedEx's system. However the shipper has to actually drop the package off at FedEx to get the shipping process started (or arrange for a pickup). Thats likely what happened here - he printed the label, put it on the box, but didn't drop it off.

    True, but he said it had been dropped off when per the store it hadn't. It's easy to come in and say "this will be corrected and I will drop this off at X time on Y day."

    Oh yes, my comment was just directed generally since it seemed like some people were unsure how the printing of labels at home worked. He clearly didn't drop it off until a day after he said he did after he failed ship it the first time.
